Just Natural Organic Amaranth Grain 500g

Organic Amaranth is an ancient grain, naturally gluten-free, with a distinctive peppery, slightly nutty flavour and a texture that turns pleasantly sticky once cooked, similar to a fine porridge. It's traditionally used across Central and South America and can be cooked as a hot breakfast cereal, added to soups as a natural thickener, or popped in a dry pan like popcorn for a crunchy snack or cereal topping. Certified organic, vegan and gluten-free, with no added sugar, it's a nutritious way to add variety to a gluten-free grain rotation. Simmer in around three times its volume of water until the grains turn translucent, usually 15-20 minutes. Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place, where it will keep well for many months.
