Xenowatch Training – JRS Pretoria and Johannesburg Offices

On the 4th and 5th of April 2022, Xenowatch team conducted training sessions with staff and clients of Jesuit Refugee Service (JRS) in Pretoria and Johannesburg offices. The participants were taken through practical steps of how to report incidents of xenophobic discrimination on the Xenowatch platform. The session covered the purpose of the platform and the importance of reporting, especially for early warning and prevention of xenophobic violence. Participants received posters and pamphlets with detailed information on how to report xenophobic discrimination, as well as to distribute to friends and family members.
